Working across a number of interdisciplinary techniques my art practice deals with exploration and experimentation of materials to express my visualization of luminosity, reflection, texture and mark making.
I embrace the influences of my surroundings wherever I may be and try to reflect them into my work by capturing my observation of nature in symbolic representations.
My latest works relate to memories, psychological sentiments of places and experiences.

No Man is an island
Is a relationship to memories and physiological sentiments of the island representation as a place of isolation
‘living in a bubble’. Whilst the cocoon is an isolated, yet safe environment a rebirth is occurring.
Layers of protection provide a safe haven during the challenges that lay ahead. However, the intertwining strands
and layers can also become the captor that constrains its victim.
The floating object and overlapping shadows are a representation of displacement and isolation from the object in a state of limbo.
